Your free registration as a Weatherby Nation member requires acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

Section I: General Notice

Weatherby Nation prohibits the posting of images and messages that are offensive, threatening or illegal. All posted material expresses the views of the poster. Weatherby Nation does not verify or guarantee the accuracy of such information or bear any responsibility for loss, damage or other liabilities caused by any posted material. Any messages or images found to be in violation can and will be deleted without warning or explanation.

Weatherby Nation has no obligation to monitor Spike Camp Forums or Trophy Room, however reserves the right to edit, reprint, distribute or delete any posted material for any reason and without prior notification or explanation to the author. Weatherby Nation also reserves the right to ban any user, at any time, for any reason and without notification.

You must be at or above the age of 13 to enter or use Spike Camp Forums or Trophy Room.

Weatherby Nation reserves the right to amend these rules at any time without warning or notice. It is the responsibility of the site member to check this page regularly for any revisions in the Weatherby Nation Rules before posting to the Spike Camp Forums or Trophy Room.

Section II: Code of Conduct

1. Please conduct yourself in a courteous, professional manner. That means showing respect to all other users and staff, regardless of race, age, class, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or nationality. Obscenities, personal attacks, bashes and “flames” are strictly forbidden.

2. Be tasteful. Pornography, gratuitous violence and other offensive images are prohibited from this site.

3. Protect your privacy and that of others. Do not post any personal information, such as addresses, phone numbers, passwords or personal identification numbers. If you must exchange personal information with another user, please use private messaging, e-mail, instant messaging or another secure form of communication.

4. Participants shall not post any material that is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret or other proprietary right without the express permission of the owner of such copyright.

5. Users are forbidden from uploading or otherwise transmitting files that contain viruses, worms, malicious code, spyware, adware, sniffers, corrupted files or similar software or programs.

6. No spamming or flooding. This will result in immediate suspension or deletion of your account.

7. Participants may not use Spike Camp Forums or Trophy Room to post or transmit non-Weatherby advertisements or commercial solicitations of any kind.

8. Do not pretend to be someone you are not. False identifiers used to deceive others or disguise the origin of transmitted materials are strictly prohibited.

9. Each individual is allowed to have only one account. Duplicate accounts will be deleted. All accounts require a valid e-mail address.

• Email verification is required when you create an account.
• For privacy reasons the forums allow you to hide your email address from other members if you choose.

Section III. Community Guidelines

1. Please keep your contributions relevant to outdoor recreation.

2. Always post to the Spike Camp Forum that is most appropriate for your topic. When replying to another post, make sure your reply is relevant. Stay on topic.

3. Treat newcomers and veterans alike with respect. If a user asks a question that has been answered before, politely refer them to the post that answers their question. New users may also use the search feature to find answers to frequently asked questions.

4. Make sure other users can easily read and understand your posts by using correct spelling, punctuation and grammar.

5. No YELLING. Posting in all caps or in an extremely large font can be rude and irritating to other users. Your post may be removed.

6. If posted material violates one of this site’s official rules, please use the 'Report Post' feature in each post.

7. Do not start threads if:

• You are simply responding to another thread that has been locked or deleted by a staff member.
• You are asking why a previous thread was locked or deleted by a staff member.
• You are complaining about the behavior of forum participants or content.
• You have already posted the same question or comment in another forum. Please do not double- or cross-post.
• You want to send a message to a single member. Send a Private Message instead.

8. We ask that your forum signature images remain a size that is not too large for users on a dialup connection to download. Please keep your image file sizes down to around 20K.

9. Use your avatar as a way to set your posts apart from others. Avoid choosing avatars that will upset or offend other posters.

10. Do not start threads because you find someone else's avatar offensive. Instead, send complaints to WeatherbyNation staff through our private messaging and email system.
