I don't know how we could do it but I would like to be able to add another forum for one of my subscribed groups.
I would like to add a Weatherby Rescue Forum.
I have seen super deals on Weatherby's and I believe that it would be to our advantage to have a section on our forums where we can advertise Weatherby deals or times when Weatherby's might need a new home.
Times are tough right now but I am really thinking about the German Mark V that I missed on last spring for $400.00. It was a 7mm Weatherby Mag and is now owned by the gunshop owner who changed it over to 416 Rem for Africa.
I am wondering how I could set more than one thread on my Alaska Weatherby Nuts Group?
Thanks,
Sincerely,
Thomas

example-I am doing a rescue today.
I am purchasing a Weatherby Mark V 300 Wby Deluxe from Japan in 98% at a local gun store for 750.00
I am horsetrading a Stevens 200 in 7Rem Mag for 200.00. I was going to use it for a project gun and that is how much I purchased it for during a special at sportsman's Warehouse this last fall.
So I am taking home a Mark V for 550.00 out of pocket.
The guy sold it supposedly because he felt ammo was too expensive.
I know that there are two sub moa vanguards for about 620.00 at FAI SW.
Thus, Their loss is my gain,
Sincerely,
Thomas

I know what you are talking about. You have to be in the right place at the right time. My dad found a mark v german varminter in 22-250 at a gun show and picked it up for $400. Stock had a couple of digs in it other wise it was a steal. Also picked up a .340 mark v deluxe at a store with a ziess scope. THe guy tried to put a box of shells through it but got magnum eyebrow when he couldn't handle the recoil. I think he picked it up for $1000. THis was about 10 years ago though. I wish I could stumble on a few of them myself!
