Sure would like to see the B&C stocks and the Walnut stocks for sale rather than having to call, twice I have recieved different quotes on cost. Weatherby would make out good from the stock sale's I would bet big on it!I may be an old fart, but I still smell good!

as far as synthetic stocks I'm surprised how much I like the new Griptonite stock, but have to admit I have been thinking about changing it out since even before I purchased the rifle.  I would rather put a Weatherby product on her, and would definitely be one of the multitudes who would love to see them offered on the site.Vanguard S2 SS 257WBY, SA-08 Upland 20Ga

Terry:I had seen those on Ebay also, some really nice looking wood for the price on some.Some said factory 2nd and one buyer said he bought all that Weatherby had.I was just wondering about the S1 barreled actions fitting the S2 stocks Weatherby is advertising.I figure they would or there would not be much market for them otherwise.

Absolutely. They will fit almost all of the Series 1 rifles.

"Fits all Vanguard models with a serial number prefix of VX, VS, or VB and a #1 or #2 contour barrel"

There are many a thousand people who will not buy or can not buy from GunBroker I would be 1 of those. Most all of GB will not sell to our Comi State of Kalifornia. I would rather pay Weatherby for their product first. I may be an old fart, but I still smell good!

I sold my S2 stock to a friend  who put it on his S1 270 Win. It fits and fires fine. Of all the gin joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine.
