For the pronghorn antelope? .257 Wby Mag. I'd prefer a .270 Wby Mag, but, that is not offered.
For Africa? I'd loved the .270 Wby, but would probably go with the .300 since I doubt that you'd be allowed to use the .270 on some of the larger African antelope. Possibly the 7mm Wby Mag would do the job? In reality, I'd probably ask for the PH's advice on this....

ETA on 09/16/2010: Postings on another thread by folks who've hunted in Africa with a 270 Wby Mag have convinced me that that would be my dream rifle for an African hunt. I'll stay with the 257 Wby Mag for the Pronghorn hunt in Wyoming since the 270 Wby is not offered in a Vanguard action....
